At Furniture by Daniel James, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, customisable furniture that is made to order and tailored to your specifications. Please read our Refund and Returns Policy carefully to understand your rights and our obligations.
1. Made-to-Order and Customised Items
As all our furniture is made to order and customised to your specific requirements, we are unable to offer refunds or accept returns if you change your mind or are dissatisfied with the final product based on personal preference. By confirming your order, you acknowledge and agree to the details specified in your customisation request.
2. Damaged or Faulty Items
We carefully inspect all furniture before dispatch to ensure it meets our high standards. If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@furniturebydanieljames.co.uk with the following:
- A description of the issue
- Photographic evidence of the damage or defect
- Proof of purchase
Our Resolution Process:
- If the damage or fault is verified to have occurred during production or delivery, we will arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion.
- If a replacement or repair is not possible, we will provide a refund for the affected item.
3. Conditions for Returns and Replacements
Returns or replacements for damaged or faulty items are subject to the following conditions:
- The item must be in its original packaging and unused.
- Damage caused by misuse, mishandling, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered under this policy.
- Claims made after 48 hours of delivery may not be honoured.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
We cannot offer refunds, returns, or exchanges in the following cases:
- Customised items where specifications have been agreed upon.
- Issues arising from incorrect measurements or information provided by the customer.
- General dissatisfaction or a change of mind after delivery.
5. Delivery Issues
If your item is delayed or does not arrive as scheduled, please contact us immediately at info@furniturebydanieljames.co.uk. We will work with our delivery partners to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
6. Care Instructions and Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to follow the care instructions provided with your furniture. We cannot be held liable for damage caused by improper use, cleaning, or maintenance.
